About the team and role
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with experience in cloud-based Financial ERP implementations to support our implementation of Workday Financials. The Test Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all testing activities. The role ensures that testing is well-structured, that testers are prepared and supported, and that test execution is completed according to plan. The role is part of our Fin ERP Program and will collaborate with other parts in the program, business stakeholders, users, tech leads, IT teams and architects.
This individual will work in parallel and get onboarded by our current Test Lead throughout the spring, and will assume full responsibility after the summer when the current Test Lead leaves for paternity leave.

Key responsibilities:
Test Planning & Preparation

• Support the definition of test scope and test objectives for each test phase.
• Create and maintain detailed UAT schedules, including when each test case should be executed and by whom.
• Ensure that all testers have the correct training, access, and permissions in Azure DevOps (ADO) and Workday.
• Support the creation of high-quality test cases and ensure consistency across the testing team.
• Prepare guidance and training material on how to work with test cases in ADO.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate test activities and follow up with functional teams, consultants, and business testers.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure issues are assigned, prioritized, and resolved.
• Act as the main point of contact for all testing-related questions throughout the project.
• Provide ongoing support to testers during the test phases, including help with test case design, expected results, documentation, and test evidence requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Change Management and Training coordinator to ensure alignment between UAT preparation, training materials, and end-user readiness.

Quality Assurance & Reporting

• Monitor overall test progress, identify risks or blockers, and communicate updates to project leadership.
• Ensure compliance with agreed testing processes and quality standards.
• Provide test status reports, defect summaries, and input for go/no-go decision.

Post Go-Live Testing Support

• Provide guidance on how testing will be handled after go-live, including regression testing and Workday release validation.
• Support the transition from project testing to BAU test processes and ensure that the operational teams are prepared.

You are an experienced Test Lead who excels at navigating complex organizational structures and thrives when leading cross-functional teams. Your support for testers—regardless of their experience level—is grounded in proactive engagement, providing guidance on test case design, expected results, documentation, and test evidence requirements. With a strong understanding of cloud-based Financial ERP systems, you collaborate closely with Change Management and Training coordinators to ensure seamless alignment between UAT preparation, training materials, and end-user readiness. Your attentive and solution-oriented mindset drives effective coordination, ensuring quality assurance throughout implementation. You consistently monitor test progress, identify risks or blockers, and communicate updates to project leadership, maintaining compliance with agreed testing processes and quality standards. Your excellent communication and coordination abilities are complemented by a structured approach, strong attention to detail, and a clear focus on overall testing scope and priorities, supporting both the transition from project testing to BAU test processes and the operational teams' preparedness post go-live.

Other skills and competences:

• ERP & Workday Knowledge: 
  
  • Strong understanding of ERP processes. Preferably Workday Finance processes (e.g., Financial Accounting, Customer/Supplier processes, Business Assets).
  • Experience of Fin ERP implementations
• Testing & QA Expertise: 
  
  • Experience working with structured test processes in ERP or large transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of test case design, traceability, defect management, and test coordination.
  • Ability to support business in writing clear and comprehensive test cases.
• Tools:
  
  • Minimum 2 years' experience using Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, dashboards, and access setup

Kunskap: Hög generalistkompetens, eller mycket hög kompetens inom ett område
Erfarenhet: Har deltagit i stora uppdrag inom olika områden och genomfört uppdrag med mycket hög kvalitet, nivån uppnås normalt tidigast efter 9-12 år som konsult inom området. Har befunnit sig på nivå 3 under minst 2 år.
Ledning: Tar huvudansvar för ledning av större grupp
Självständighet: Mycket stor

- Kandidater kommer att presenteras löpande till kunden och tjänsten kan komma att tillsättas innan sista svarsdag.
