About the assignment

AstaZero is the world’s first full-scale independent test environment for the automated transport system of the future. The facility is unique in that the different traffic environments make it possible to test advanced safety systems and their functions for all kinds of traffic and traffic situations.

We are seeking a Functional Safety Expert with extensive experience in the heavy-duty vehicle and construction equipment domain. The role involves leading and supporting safety activities and ensuring compliance with international safety standards. The role will be within a team working in a project for one of our customers,

The role is part of an existing team responsible for delivering within a project for one of our key customers.

Shall-have-requirement

· The consultant SHALL have at least 10 years work experience in functional safety including work in Heavy Duty trucks and construction equipment.
· The consultant SHALL have depth knowledge of relevant safety standards including ISO26262 and IEC61508
· The consultant SHALL Proven experience conducting safety analysis using SISTEMA for hardware evaluation

Should-have requirement

· The consultant SHOULD have sands-on experience with system and software safety concepts, ECU safety mechanisms, microcontroller safety features and monitoring concepts.

· The consultant SHOULD Strong background in training and monitoring teams on functional safety processes and methodologies. 

Competence level 4
Knowledge: High generalist competence, or very high competence in one area
Experience: Has participated in large assignments in different areas and completed assignments
with very high quality, the level is normally reached at the earliest after 9-12 years as a consultant in the field. Has been at level 3 for at least 2 years.
Management: Takes main responsibility for management of larger groups
Independence: Very large
